Suggestions for clients without drug plans:
Get generic drugs when possible
Get larger quantity of maintenance drugs
Let your physician know that you are not on a drug plan
Save all your receipts or ask the pharmacy to issue a receipt for the whole year for income tax purposes.  At Queen Street Pharmacy we do NOT charge for the yearly receipt for our regular customers

With most new prescription we provide a print out with the following details:

    Side effects
    Precautions

The computer will also check for any interaction with other drugs or with your medical condition, on your profile with our pharmacy.  Depending on the type of interaction the client is given specific instructions or we contact the physician for intervention.

What is compounding?

A single pill-pak that houses all the solid medications as follows:
Divided into four slots for four time periods of each day, (i.e. breakfast, lunch, supper and bedtime)
All the pills for a given time period are put together in the appropriate slot
A single pack houses all the pills for an entire week
